Termite
Inspections.
We provide termite inspections for Colorado homes prior to a real estate transaction or for a wood-destroying organism (WDO) report. Inspection only — we do not perform termite treatment or removal.
What our termite inspection covers
Environmental Pest Control provides termite inspections for Colorado homes prior to a real estate transaction or for a wood-destroying organism (WDO) report. We do not perform termite treatment or termite removal — our service is inspection and reporting only.
- Foundation and perimeter inspection — looking for mud tubes, swarmer wings, and soil-contact wood
- Interior walls, baseboards, and trim — sounding for hollow wood, checking for blistering and frass
- Crawlspace and basement — sill plates, joists, posts, and any wood-to-ground contact
- Attic and roof framing — drywood activity, frass pellets, kick-out holes
- Documented findings — written WDO report with photos of any active areas
Real estate & WDO inspections
Buying or selling a home? We provide Wood-Destroying Organism (WDO) inspection reports for transactions across the Denver metro. If active termites or other wood-destroying organisms are found, we document the activity in our report — you can then engage a licensed termite treatment specialist for remediation.
What we look for
Colorado has both subterranean and drywood termite activity along the Front Range, plus other wood-destroying organisms like carpenter ants and wood-decay fungi. Our inspection identifies which species is active, where they're feeding, and how much damage has already occurred — so you have the information you need to make a good decision.
